I like to get food I can just grab and eat. It might seem a bit weird, but I'll grab a piece of cheese or else get a jar of peanut butter and a spoon.

Not for now, but for the freezer:

I like to make a big pot of soup using chicken broth, chicken cubes, 1/4 cup Toasted Kasha, and as many vegetables as I can conjure. It freezes well so I am OK on sick days. Parm is also a really good addition to it (thickens a little), or better yet, Locatelli cheese. MMMMmmmm... Not everyone has access to that stuff though.

And peanut butter is a comfort also!

Almonds are good too when sick!

GET WELL!

Thank you, nurse! :hysterical: (I love your avatar. That's one of my fave movies)

What's the movie?

Peanut butter is a big time comfort food for me.

I hope you feel better soon, Jamie. I head out on vacation tomorrow and am feeling worse today. I hoping it's more allergies than sick.
