Well, no stories... *yet*

My boyfriend and I are taking a two day kayaking class this weekend. It'll be my first time, but he's an old pro. I'm not sure what it says about me, but my biggest worry is what my hair will look like after...

I did buy some water activity clothes, since I get cold easily and it's already starting to cool off here. Other than that, what else do I need? Any tips?

I think it sounds great! I think they'll provide everything you need, but you might want to take along a pain reliever in case you get stiff after all that paddling.

Oh, good idea! I'm sure I will, as different muscles are used for paddling than wrestling dogs.

Yeah! And I also think sitting in a kayak for a long time would render butt and leg soreness.

I think kayaking looks awesome.

I'd also make with sunscreen. You'll be in the sun a lot.

Well, we made it back and are almost recovered. Monday was total soreness, then as that started to fade, the infection fighting from swallowing lake water started.

We had a great time, but I'm hoping future expeditions will be a little less intense.

And, as if I hadn't gotten enough nature, there was a fly in my soup at dinner Saturday...

Mmmmmm. Lake water....

Did everyone want a fly in their soup, too? Let's see pictures! (Of the trip...not the fly)

we didn't take the cameras, since we knew there'd be lots of water involved. Will definitely take pics if we go on a kayaking trip, though. Well, after this perm grows out. You'd think I'd learn...

I sort of agree even though not quite sure I comprehend everything here!
